The EDSI Reaching Agreement program provides the practical tools needed to successfully navigate and resolve disagreements, resulting in increased productivity and engagement for both managers and employees.
Learners will be able to use five steps to explore and evaluate alternatives to conflict with another individual or group in order to reach agreements that are most likely to meet the needs of all parties.
Agreement is obtained only through valuing the ideas, requests, and reasoning of employees. Rather than directing others to perform based on his or her own viewpoint, the participative manager or team leader seeks to understand the viewpoint or needs of others. Alternatives to methods of handling typical disagreements and workplace conflicts that prioritize one point of view are explored and evaluated on the basis of importance and practicality rather than past practice, one’s personal convenience, or any preconceived ideas.
This half– or one–day program includes the Reaching Agreement Leader’s Guide. Call 800-282-3374 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for pricing and more program information.
