Legendary motivational speaker, author and trainer Zig Ziglea died this week at the age of 86. Ziglar, born Hilary Hinton Ziglar, was a native of Alabama, a World War II veteran and a speaker who shared the stage with global leaders including former US presidents and British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Though Zigler’s philosophy was rooted in Christianity, his messages of positivity, hard work and personal responsibility were able to transcend religion and inspire people from all walks of life.
